Travel Tips

I love the mountains and I really enjoy visiting the deep snow. Wouldn't wanna live in it, but love to visit. This was a trip to Colorado in 92. Unfortunately I shattered my knee out during a ski trip to New Mexico. So I can't ski anymore, but I will always visit when possible.

During the late 80's I was working at a video store while putting myself thru college. The guy that owned the video store also had a deep sea charter service. One summer I was in a major burnout from work and school so my boss invited me to go fishing on his boat. I went down for a weekend and stayed for 2 months. They let me work as a deck hand and I did some remodeling on their beach house to pay for my stay. It was a wonderful summer. Spending my days on the ocean or at the beach. This picture is from one of our fishing trips out in the Gulf.

I love to fish and this was my first experience at salt water fishing. What an experience it was. My 1st fish was a 40lb Lin. It took 30 mins. to get it to the boat. This picture shows the catch on one of our typical days. No, I am not talking about the lady.
