This is just one of the eight Ball Courts of Chichén Itzà. It's the widest of all Mexico. Here the players had to pass the ball though a stone ring on the wall without to make use of hands and feet. The losing team (or the winning one? The archaeologists have different theories) was sacrified. |

My family went up and found it beautiful on top. Then there was the trip down. We used our backsides mostly. Great site. |
