I love to make afghans and the more difficult the better. I then give most of them to family or friends for gifts. This year I made 5 afghans and then one for myself.

I made afghans for each of the adult 'kids' one Christmas. This is something I do at least every 10 years.

with the person I'm making the afghan for. If your favorite color is 'purple' then that's what I'll make. If I have no idea, then you'll get a multiple colored one or one I pick to go in a room in your house.

But I'm taking a break from afghans for a few years. I'm all afghaned out!

I know that even the guys like to cover up with something warm while their watching their favorite football team.

I try to keep that in mind when I make something for him. I made a quilt for him out of his father's ties one year. I know I promised to make a pillow out of HIS ties for him, but I haven't gotten very far on it yet.

Don't worry, Keith I'll get it done some day...

This was for a nephew's wedding. I really enjoyed making this one. It was much easier than it looks also.

This set was for my granddaughter, Samantha, but I've made many, many other sets thru the years as well.
