Motorail... 2002/2004/2005? The purist "biker" will no doubt scoff at the idea of putting the bike on the motorail train, but the service is very convenient.
In May 2002 we went from Denderleeuw in Belgium to Narbonne and back using motorail. Excellent service!
In August 2004 we came back from Nice to Paris overnight. Not as good with SNCF as SNCB but okayish.
In 2005 we are letting the train take the strain and going to Narbonne from Calais. |
|  | Spain... 2002 Not perhaps the most "Spanish" of shots, but this was taken in May 2002 in Salou by one of the many advertising signs for Puerto Aventura.
The bike is a 2001 model Suzuki GSF1200SK1 "Bandit". |
Czech... 2004 In May 2004 made a run across to Czech for the Czech Suzuki Club's annual rally in Chud?ice (see separate page on the village). The trip took ten days in all and we covered over 2500 miles. As well as overnight stops in Paris (!), Heilbronn, Prague we spent a couple of nights in Chud?ice before starting the return phase via Austria. | | French Alps... 2004 Also in 2004 we had a second holiday on the bike , this time to the French Alps. Staying in Jausiers. As well as completing a section in my travel pages I have also written up most of the trip on here |
2005... Lots of local trips around SE England and a longer one to France to Fitou in August.
This year we have to save some money for a big on to Sapin (I hope) in 2006.
I really want to take the boat to Bilbao or Satander and tour down the west of Spain to take in the Extremadura and down in Andalucia. | | |
