Harbor looking west to anchorage

I wanted to walk over the bridge, so the hotel transportation guy drove us in his pick up truck from the marina to the end of the bridge ($5), and we walked across - 75 ft above the harbor. The view is looking from the bridge toward the cruise ship dock and the west anchorage (you can only walk on the west bridge). If you walk across the bridge you avoid the toll which is collected ($2) from northbound cars.

While we were on the birdge, Chalk’s seaplane took off toward the cruise ship docks.
We walked on across the bridges, and eventually after several false starts found our way through the casino to the entrance of the aquarium.

Inside the Atlantis tunnel are several single species tanks. In addition to the main tank there were a grouper tank, a piranha tank, and a seahorse tank.

There were two individual jellyfish tanks (hard to take a photo of because of the low light),

There were 2 big lobster tanks. This picture illustrates the hazard of taking pictures in an aquarium - either you forget to suppress the flash or the picture is underexposed.

Conch with extended foot

There was a touching tank with starfish (top photo), sea cucumber and queen conch, and then you go topside and walk around on top.

The upper level has lagoons with little brown rays, and one with houndfish, and then you go through a tunnel under the predator lagoon. This last was somewhat disappointing as it had a lot of sediment in the water stirred up by two divers using a hookah rig who were vacuuming up the sand bottom.

Surface tank

We ate lunch at the Lagoon bar and Grill. Then we took a taxi back.
