Do I look like a Volendammer?

It is nice to be dressed like a Hollander.I used to have a nice black beard , wonder what happened.

Kermis in Holland , that was great fun.

Not very good at it.

In Holland you cannot go to a Kermis without doing some shooting I remember that we had to shoot at a wire with ceramic little pipes, hanging on it and when the little pipes (looked like sigarets)were all broken off you got a prize .

There was a military draft in Holland back then.

Crazy army boys

Yes the army called in 1968 after I came back from living in Spain for one year 18 months had a good time in the Army..

it was not a waste of time in the Army.

Being drafted was not all that bad, after basic training in Utrecht,than Amersfoort by the Huzaren and later in de Kazerne in Scheveningen , it was a fun time.

Some where Northern Spain on vacation.

We had good times driving in an Lelijke Eend (Ugly Duck Citroen Car), from Delft to Spain.
In these days Spain was a favorite country to visit. And the girls there were also nice.

Meet the Waalewijn kids, some of us were on skates , because we are standing on a frozen over canal.

A wild & Crazy Guy.

After 31 wonderful years at the Chrysler Plant's in Windsor retirement was offered to me , and I jumped at the chance , I love every moment of it. Retired in June 2001 at age 55 .
