different coffeeshops

BARNEY'S

barneys coffeeshop breakfast bar

this place is really nicely decorated, but just a little to small for my taste. it's located 10 minutes from central station.. the breakfast isn't that bad, we ate there on our last day. they open at 8:00am so if your flights early like ours was you can enjoy one last puff before you go..
brandend zand

brandend zand ( burning sand)

this shop should have won for best coffeeshop, it's very large and open which in my opinion makes a great coffeeshop.the decor is amazing when you walk into the shop facing you is a huge fish tank. the shop is full of eye candy.they have a poolroom, dartboards, a huge big screen tv, nice bar, and most importantly a very warm friendly staff..one of the bartenders recognised us each time we went there, and he saw us at the pax one day and waved hello..great place!
3RD FLOOR OF THE BUSHDOCTOR

the bushdoctor

this is a 3 level coffeeshop with the second floor under constuction.the first part is very small but once you make your way up the tricky stairs
( be carefull ) you'll find a spacious 3rd floor with a few tables. nice place except for the annoying ghetto thug music blaring when you walk in. the hash they entered was just like the name implies daisey cutter it's the BOMB..
BETTY BOOP

betty boop

this was a very friendly little shop with an electric door, something uncommon in amsterdam! we ran into another person from vegas here which was funny.
blue velvet coffeeshop

BLUE VELVET

this shop was pretty spacious, the best part was the house cat this poor cat looked stoned out of his mind.when i asked to take it's picture the dealer said he ate half a space cake just prior to our arrival. considering he was laying on the counter where smoke is bound to find its way he was definalty ripped.the next picture will be of the blue velvet cat.
stoned blue velvet cat

stoned kitty....

i wish i didn't delete the picture of him when he woke up, he was having a rough time staying concious! this cat has the life, the owner said he prefers to sit downstairs vs. in his home so i guess he likes to get high too.
caffe chocolata

caffe chocolata

this is a great must visit shop, it's not the biggest shop but the gear is well worth it.we sampled some choco mist which was the most crystally bud we saw in amsterdam, and the hash bon bons are not to be missed. the bass player from 311 HIGHLY reccomended this place to me, thanks p-nut!
de dampkring

de dampkring

this place is too damn small, for as good and big as they're menu is maybe a remodel is due? they have 27 different types of marijuana and some of the most potent hash in all of amsterdam..this year soma entered the now famous jelly hash which quickly sold out..good stuff!!
