The first book I ever read was a little Winnie the Pooh picture book. For some reason I really loved Eyeore. The line about him in the book was, "Eyeore is a gloomy friend." And I used to say it with a real heart felt feeling that made everybody laugh.
Well what can I say it stuck with me. I love donkeys, burro or in Sardinian Su Burricheddu. They are kind, sweet, loyal, and long suffering. They never complain even if you put silly straw hats on them.
If I ever call you a jackass, be assured it's a been a term of endearment from me for a long time...way before this whole MTV thing ever started. |
