Sunday, Jan. 27th. The main thing I wanted to do here in Nassau was to visit the underwater park at Atlantis. Photo is one of these Atlantis ‘artifacts’.

[Note: Some folks think that off of Bimini is the original Atlantis site. Apparently there are block-like structures in the sea floor there]

Inside the tank area I took mostly digital pictures to avoid the flash reflections. These are the digital photos taken in the main tank.

You start in a restaurant surrounded on 3 side by a large tank. We got to this restaurant too late for breakfast and too early for lunch. Otherwise we could have sat and watched the passing scenery.

Some of the coral is probably fake, just like it is at Disney

The large tank had manta rays, hammerhead sharks, triggerfish, angelfish, yellowtail, dolphin fish, and many others.

The tank encircles the restaurant on two or more sides, and then the entrance to the Atlantis part goes around the tank.

This fish has a cleaner fish on it - picture isn't too clear though.
