Beauty in the City

In the middle of the hustle and bustle of Des Moines lies a oasis of nature. Located just blocks from the Capital, next to the Des Moines river, the botanical gardens are a showcase of natures finest beauty. Filled with flora and fauna from around the world, the gardens are a breath of fresh air. There is a modest fee for admission, but it's worth it.
Natural settings like this one add to the effect of the gardens.
Fish like these swim amongst the many different plants and flowers at the gardens.
