This pumpkin from New Hampshire grown by Bruce Whittier was a pending record at 1458 pounds. Unfortunately it developed a small hole and eventually a split along one of the ribs which disqualified it from official records. It remains however, the heaviest pumpkin ever weighed.

Master pumpkin grower Don Crews from Lloydminster, Alberta came in with the new Alberta record in 2006 with this monster...1029 pounds!

Not only that, he also had the Grand Slam...the biggest squash and the biggest watermelon!!!!
