The 3 Bears Kodiak Bears are fun to watch from a distance. I have seen a Sow try to attack a Bald Eagle that was attempting to steal a salmon that she had just caught. Kodiak is great place for Bear viewing but for the best stuff you must fly out to remote areas. |

Bear Warning!! If you see these signs around.....the big hairy guys could be close by!! Make plenty of noise and keep a clean camp! |
Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge The Headquarters of the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge is a pretty cool place. There are some animal displays and a video room where you can watch free videos about Kodiak Wildlife. They can answer all of your questions too. A great place to spend a couple of hours on a rainy day! |
