Deer Island in early Spring Take a drive down Rt 145 taking a right at the stop sign. Past Cottage Hill and Winthrop Yacht Club and down through Point Shirley. You will came to Deer Island. Park your car and take a leisurely 2.6 mile walk around the Island on their Public Access paths. You'll see some fantastic views! And don't forget to walk to the top of one of the hills, sit a spell ... look at the views and relax ... for a change. |  | |

The Swans of Winthrop For the second year in a row, the swan pair have dome back to Winthrop and Lewis Lake to raise another family. Tonight they stopped in our backyard to say "Hi, have any food for us?" |  | |

|  | Tall Ship leaving Boston Harbor The Tall Ships came into Boston Harbor the summer of 2000. I had hoped to get wonderful pictures from the beach when they where leaving, but loh, it turned out to be a foggy day and couldn't see anything, let alone take pictures. This was the only one I got two days before. Ah, the sailing ships are a beautiful site! |
