Holiday World was one place we could take the kids to and were not afraid to let them have the run of the park when they got older. We tried to time our visits at the times when the crowds were the smallest,usually early spring until June and then after Labor Day. In the last few years it seems that the holidays such as Memorial Day and Labor Day the crowds are smaller.The rest of the time there is a crowd but there is not the long waiting lines like at some of the other parks I have been to.It is better to go during the week if possible. |

When my girls were younger the y were fascinated with the performances at the park.I don't think they hardly missed a show on the days we were at the park. In 1998,my daughter tried out at an audition and was chosen to be one of the entertainers for that season.They did five shows a day six days a week,rain or shine. MANDY & JREMI DIXIE CHICKS |
