I've returned from Paris where I lived for a few months. Lately, I've been writing a great deal and creating a place for new pieces at www.leerunchey.com. The site is more of a reference point for editors who are interested in available pieces. I post the synapsis of the available novels, short stories and, hopefully soon, a couple of magazine articles. I will also know in about a week or two if I can create a little (and free) monthly literary magazine on the web. Unfortunately, this new website takes so much time that I'm not able to visit VT as much as I'd like, so I am very sorry for this.

What is a better birthday gift that the gift of a dream made true? My dream was a ride in a hot air balloon. I drifted through quiet farmer's fields with a few horses moving in a lazy way, a swamp with dead trees where beautiful blue herron birds made their nests and the world's largest gravel pit.

I saw a few deer mostly standing so still, but one was completetely unaware of the balloon as he leapt so gracefully across a field.
