First Vacation The first real trip/vacation I took was with my family. I was about 5 years old and we went to California for a wedding. We drove all the way from west Texas. It was a great trip and I have a lot of fond memories. While in California, we visited Yosemite National Park and Disney World. We also stopped in Arizona to see the Grand Canyon. |
Camping in New Mexico I believe our next trip was to Ruidoso, New Mexico. We went camping and fishing. Ruidoso has remained a favorite vacation spot for my family. |
Road Trip to Tennessee Our next big family trip was to Nashville, Tennessee. Along the way we stopped in Memphis to see the mighty Mississippi. |
Cancun Mexico After I graduated from highschool, my mom took me to Cancun. We had a great time! The best part about going with my mother, was that we didn't spend all our time in the bars. We actually got to see some of the local attractions like Myan ruins. |
Road trip in England My mom and sister met me at the end of my study abroad in England. We rented a car and traveled around southern England. |
Thanksgiving For Thanksgiving 2001, my dad's side of the family met in Ruidoso, NM. We rented a furnished cabin for 5 days. It was nice but there were 15 adults and one baby all crammed in one small house. |
