Me and my sisters in front of the little house we had rented for our holidays.
Note: This house had no electricity, no tap water, no water toilet, no washing machine, no nothing.
We used an outside toilet, the lake for swimming and cleaning ourselves and the water from the clean lake for cooking and washing the clothes. My mother did a great job and I admire her deeply for all the hardships she took just to make it a great holiday for us kids.
Of course we had to help her: fetching the water from the lake or from the well and cleaning the dishes. And that we did not cry, when being washed in the cold water of the lake, was a help, too!
