Sabaudia
Sabaudia is a little city in the Pontine Region, in the south of Rome.
Once Sabaudia was a marshland.
It appears that even Leonardo da Vinci elaborated plans to drain the marshes.
It was only in the 20s and 30s that it became a reality.
Five new towns were born: Littoria, now Latina (1932); Sabaudia (1934); Pontinia (1935); Aprilia (1937); Pomezia (1939).
Sabaudia is now a tourist centre for mostly the people from the capital of Italy Roma.
The citypeople like to relax in this little village with his breathtaking views and clearest sea.
The picture is made in the garden of our house in Sabaudia.
