|  | Up on the hill in the centre of the photo is the art deco Montana Hotel. It is known for its living and charming nostalgia, for a fantastic view of lake Lucerne and the Swiss Alps. Only a few minutes to the old town and there is the shortest cable car which carries guests from the lake promenade directly into the hotel lobby is free of charge. On the bottom right of the photo is the Palace Luzern Hotel, a five-star hotel in the deluxe category situated on the shores of Lake Lucerne and five minutes away from the Old Town. |
