Mostly you see a sign like this telling the forest is open under certain conditions. The most common conditions are: dogs are on a leas, not open between sunset and sunrise, only walk on paths, no littering. |

Forests in the netherlands are mostly managed the natural way. That means they look like a mess. Branches and fallen trees are not picked up. It is the natural way for it to decay slowly and release worthfull building materials to the soil. |
