Yankee Candle Factory, Deerfield On October 13th my love and I traveled North on I-91 from Connecticut into Massachusetts to discover the beauty of New England in the Fall. Because we both really enjoy nice candles we decided a stop at the Yankee Candle Factory in Deerfield, just off of Exit 24, was something not to be missed. We were not disappointed! The place is a candle-lover's heaven. |
CANDLES!!!!!! This is a sampling of what we saw there: Candles in every shape, size, scent, color! Some were so delicious-smelling they almost seemed edible...My favorite? "Harvest", a warm, spicy scent with a deep gold color. We almost got sensory overload after spending a few hours in that store. It's incredible....and what great gifts they make too. |
Coffee Shop within the Candle Company |
Yankee Car Show Part of the factory (and I still haven't quite figured out why) was a large antique/classic cars museum. The cars are beautiful, although some were also just plain odd, all were shiny and impressive in some way or the other! I really enjoyed this, as did Paul :) |
Imagine cruisin' summer nights... |
North on I-91 This is a view from the main North/South Route in Central New England : Interstate 91. This picture was taken just north of Deerfield, Massachusetts, and just south of the Vermont border. Heading north towards the rest of our most amazing journey! |
