When I was in <a href="http://www.virtualtourist. com/m/.53989/861/"> Melbourne</a> I didn't visit the Botanical Gardens because at that time thousands of bats took up residence in the gardens creating havoc and destroying trees. It was reported that the damages were extensive and that their presence created a lot of stench around the gardens, which was unpleasant and posed a public hazard!!! Bats are a protected species in Australia.</font></p> </body> |
