| | The path, at the left, along the falls, goes through the Victoria Falls National Park in Zimbabwe. There are excellent viewpoints, but the water mist makes you wet: take care of your camera! |
| | Here you see the mist, "the smoke, that thunders". |
| | The Zambian side, at the right, was dry. |
| | Evening at Sindabezi After seeing the falls in Zimbabwe and trying to enter Zambia again (see tourist traps) it was almost evening. We had booked a night on the small island Sindabezi, part of Tongabezi, but lying in the middle of the Zambezi, about 3 km from the hotel. There were many hippo's in the river and our guide managed to navigate our very small boat between them without a crash. A tremendous performance as we could not see them, because of the dark, but we heared them moving and grumbling. |
| | And then we had time to watch the sunset. |
