The centre of the Bahai religion is this shrine, located on the slope of the Carmel mountain in Haifa. The shrine is situated inside a beatiful garden. Both the shrine and the garden are opened for visitors, free of charge.

Acco Garden

Less famous, but not less beautiful is the shrine north of Acco. The town of Acco is located on the other side of the Haifa bay. From there you can easily see the city of Haifa. To get there you need to drive along the coast for 30 Kms or so. The city has a lot to offer. It has an extensive history (Crusaders, Napoleon, Turkish Empire, British mandate and more) but for now we'll concentrate on the Bahai garden. The garden is located several Kms north of Acco. Unlike the Haifa shrine, it's quite easy to miss, so you better keep on your eyes on the signs. The garden is open for the public free of charge, the house is open until 12:00 PM.

Oh this beer hall sounds like a good place to take husbands for their birthday (if you want it to be their last birthday...LOL) I was in Haifa a couple of weeks ago - it was beautiful!
