I visited Paris for about 9 days in September 2000. It's an incredibly romantic city, very beautiful especially in autumn. However, not being able to speak French is a problem sometimes. The people aren't exactly friendly and I don't feel very safe. I got my wallet picked while I was at the flea market and was harassed while waiting for the metro. There's lots of museums to visit. Lourve is much too big to finish in a day. I like Musee D'Orsay and the Monet museum. Another thing you ave to do is to eat a quiche. I ate one almost everyday as they are so delicious! |
Versailles Trees Take the time to visit Versailles. The palace grounds are HUGE and the gardens are incredibly gorgeous! Autumn is such a beautiful season! |

Notre Dame Notre Dame on a beautiful day. They recently 'washed' the building so it looks much cleaner. |

View from eiffel Tower How can you not visit the Eiffel Tower when you're in Paris? I walked all the way up and it's no joke! Not for those who are afraid of heights! I was so tired that I took the lift down! You're suppose to buy a ticket but they don't check when you go down. While you are up there, you can visit the post office and all your mails sent from there would have an exclusive Eiffel Tower post-mark. |
