The new pedestrian walkway: le Passage Solférino |
Pont Neuf - La plus romantique The Pont Neuf, linking the banks of the Seine and crossing the Ile de la Cité |
Pont des Arts - la plus belle One of the most beautiful bridges of Paris is a pedestrian iron walkway. |
Pont Alexandre III The most impressive one |
One of the many pedestrian passages... |
Le Pont Neuf - in winter The "New Bridge" is the oldest among the bridges or Paris. In the past, all the bridges had wooden houses and lots of commerce going on (they resembled Ponte Vecchio in Florence). At the Carnavalet Museum (in the Marais), there are numerous paintings of what Paris looked like a few centuries ago, and the bridges surely looked a lot different. |

aterceironeto Thu Jul 10, 2008 03:32 UTC The worst hotel. It isn'tas shown on photos and video. Cubicle, smelly rooms, rude staff. Front desk was not allowed to call a shuttle to airport because they only sell Air France bus. Stay in somewhere else to avoid wasting your money | Ipanema_Princess Mon Jun 27, 2005 22:39 UTC Really nice page on Paris. So many things I still have to see in my own city ! I love the galleries too. Parabens ! | knightrider2 Thu May 19, 2005 04:25 UTC You have some great restaurant tips. They will come in handy for my upcoming Paris trip. | morgane1692 Tue Jan 18, 2005 13:56 UTC Aaaaah, grey skies in Paris beat sunny skies anywhere else, don't they?! We need to revisit this city. One of these eons...;-) |
