I went to see the Ocearium Sea Aquarium in Croisic. It was really nice to see. You could see all kinds of fish swimming above and around you while walking in the glass tunnel.
But you could also look from top on the tunnel and see everybody kinda walking under water. Really cool!
After being on the boat, canoe or kayak you can always have a nice drink on the terrace where you drop of the boat.
The bison or buffalo wildparc is nice to see once. You can go around here by a wagon & horse. I was ofcourse more fond of the horse then of the buffaloes.
The river Villaine is to see from the huge rock on which the town of La Roche Bernard is built.
The beach of La Turballe is very large, not too crowded and it has large waves. But always be careful here with young children. The stream is strong and the waves are maybe too big for them.
My mother and I are keeping an eye on my brother while he enters the waves. He noticed my father was taking pictures, we didn't ;)
Outside you can admire the penguins. They can dive in the water if they think the sun is too hot, don't worry ;)
Besides penguins there is a room where you can see information movies and read information books about the Ocean. There also is a room where you can touch some kinds of shelfish and seacucumbers.
Welcome to the animal parc Branfere! You can see oxes, llamas, several kinds of dear, zebras, different kinds of birds and monkeys here.
This nature parc is not an ordinary Zoo. No animals are locked up in cages, they all walk around free and there are almost no fences. You can walk and encounter different animals several times. Some will walk away, but most of them are very curious.
This animal parc was founded by Paul and Hélène Jaurdes, who inherited a big estate with a lot of nature around it. They had some wild animals walking around and bought more. Finally they decided to open there estate to the public for a reasonable entree fee. The fee is used to support the animals and to keep nature beautiful here.
You can find Branfere at 56190 Muzillac in Guerno. The telephonenumber for more information is: + 33 97 42 94 66.
On this map you can see what the parc looks like. I don't know it's very readable so I will type the text over here:

A zebra, just looking around. Zebras are often scared of humans and therefore have a big area between fences.
This llama loves laying in the sun and getting stroked by people. It really was a sweetheart. I never saw a llama like this one before. Most llamas I met everywhere else would either be afraid, would bite or spit. But not this once. He loved attention and would rise his head staring at you when you stopped stroking him.
A monkey scratching his back: ,,Yeah why are you staring at me? Do I have something you don't have?'' he seems to think.
This lady was a real teaser. Every time someone wanted to photograph here, she started laying like this on purpose.
Here I greet you from the back of the French horse Daguet, a 4 year old stallion. Thanks for visiting my travellogue! :) I hope you enjoyed it.
Guerande the lovely city with it's beautiful entry and castle like walls is absolutely worth seeing!
Enjoy the swampy water area of La Grande Briere by boat, canoe or kayak. You can enjoy yourself for hourse here be being on the water.
