Cimetiere Marin

The Marine Cemetary is located rue François Desnoyer.

The photograph shows the grave of the Poet Paul Valéry (Famille Grassi).

On the stone these words :
"Ô récompense après une pensée
Qu'un long regard sur le calme des dieux."

Near by an other graveyard, in which there is the poet-singer Georges Brassens, born in Sète too.

P.S. I saw Bouzigue in 1992 and would go back in a heartbeat.Sitting on the edge of the etang with a plate of oysters and a bottle of white wine is divine.

Carol and I are still trying to settle on a region of France to visit for 7-10 days next year. The area you describe around St. Guilhen de Desert sounds like a real possibility. Thanks for the tour...Tom
