The dance of "belle epoch" at the Municipal Theatr It is known by everyone that the place which felt the greatest glory and entertained the most beautiful and in high spirit dances was the Municipal Theatre of "Apollo" which recently has offered hospitality only to the "fancy dress ball". By the title "the old good times" the Municipal Theatre has opened its gates at this times, not to the "fancy dress ball" but for the well-dressed gentlemen and ladies in an effort to revive the spirit of "belle epoch". Anyone who believes in the customary rules of a good appearance of an appropriate style and color costume will enjoy him or herself participating in this dance. |
THE KIDS' CARNIVAL The Kids' Carnival is a festival exclusively for young children. It comprises a lot of game competitions as well as the parade in which disguised children take part. The cheerful parade crosses the city dancing and playing. The children belong to groups and are dressed-up in the same way. Usually, they either attend the same kindergarten or primary school or belong to the same athletic sports club or dancing school. So the children experience and enjoy the Carnival tradition of our city in the best way. |
THE GRAND PARADE The whole town lives in the rythms of the last Sunday's parade.Thousands of people (40.000) get involved dancing in the streets while the other participate as spectators. The grand parade lasts for hoursas long as the weather is nice and warm. Even when it rains, the people do not care about it. They still dance and sing int he rain. They will escort the carnival floats till the finish line. They know that everything is about to finish so they do their best to bring fun up to its climax just before it ends. Then the King of Carnival goes up in flames and colourful fireworks. The magic, the carnival spirit will go on till dawn. |
THE HIDDEN TREASURE The hunting of the hidden treasure is a contest, which lasts 10 days and in which participate about 35.000 people. The participants have to answer to several knowledge questions, go through skill activities, and look for rare and weird objects in order to collect points so that the best will win the prize The masquerade participant search in all over the city in order to find out the required objects such as an old gramophone disk, or find the solution to comic puzzles. The masquerade groups give theatrical and dancing performances and improvise as talent artists of pantomime, they publish carnival newspaper but above all they offer their services to the Carnival King. As a result of their endless joy help people of our community to get rid of their routine. |
