Our Beautiful Ship

Visited Athens, Yalta, Odessa, Constanza in Roumania, Istanbul, Kusadasi (see also Ephesus), Mykonos, Patras,
Venice.

Here is the Crown Odyssey* docked in Odessa, Ukraine.

The Ship

At Dock

The Crown Odyssey is an absolutely beautiful ship with marble dance floors. When we sailed aboard her, she was under the flag of Royal Cruise Lines. Since then, she has sailed for Norwegian Cruise Lines as the Norwegian Crown. She is now once again the Crown Odyssey but is now under the flag of Orient Lines.

Here she is at the dock in Athens, Greece (actually Piraeus.)

The Ocean Princess was not that steady a ship. I had travelled twice on the Ocean Princess in the 80's. I heard it had gone down in the 90's, reporting no casualties.

I've only been on 1 cruise so far, (around the Caribbean), but it was a great way to travel, and I hope to do it again sometime. Your photos reminded me of my trip!
