Saints and Sinners??? This is the lovely old church located in the Red Light District area of Amsterdam. |
Inside is a painting It is strange - but the more I look at this photograph the more I think it looks like a painting. The inside of the church really is big. It can be a bit of a shock when you first walk in as at first you do not think it is going to be this large. |
Monuments to the dead. I notice that in old protestant churchs there is virtually no "otherworld" symbolism, everything seems to be in the here and now. Sometimes this can make for some lovely looking gothic statues....... |
Although sometimes it is nice to have that "Otherworld" feeling I think. |
Stained I always love the colours in stained glass windows. |
