Never Forget This is the beautiful statue of Anne Frank who was murdered along with millions of other people by probably the most despicable people that this world has ever seen. |
Betrayed Anne Frank is probably one of the most famous person of the 20th Century. Yet she was just a young girl trying to live her life. While walking through the house you see the original photographs she put on her wall, her original diary and many other things. You get a real sense of what it must have been like in those dark days. Sometimes when you see all the mememtos it is hard to imagine that out of all the people who hid there only the father Otto Frank survived. Anne Frank died of cholera 1 month before the concentration camp she was in was liberated by the Allies. They never found out who it was that betrayed the family, but whoever it was and to the people that try and deny the history shown to us - you make me sick and you do not deserve to even be called people. |
Learn from history The Anne Frank House is always very busy so it is well worth visiting very early in the morning. This picture was taken at 10:00 on a Sunday morning so it gives you an idea about the amount of people visiting the house made famous by the writings from the heart of a little girl. |
