The Big Four O In July 2004, I did a surprise birthday party for my husband. Invited 30 guests. We all had a great time!
The finale (NOT the cake-cutting) was when I made Chris do an "Amazing Race" to find my present for him. The race brought him from the tennis court, to the BBQ pits, to the Gym, to the Mini golf green, and finally to the pool, where my present is enclosed in plastic ziplock, sitting on a float!
Of course he had to jump in to get the present! |
Movie World In June 2004, we went to Australia's Brisbane and Melbourne. It was winter, but Brisbane was WARM. We all love Tweety Bird. Don't you think the color contrasts in this picture is wonderful? |
Multi colored leaves In Melbourne during its winter, the weather's always brrrrrrr cold....
We drove up Mount Dandenong and found this quaint restaurant which serves wonderful Devonshire Tea. The restaurant is THE SNOOTY FOX.
Outside the restaurant, on the ground, we saw leaves everywhere of many varied colours. It was beautiful. |
T1 and T2 My friend of more than 20 years, Sonia, who is a resident of Australia. She grew up in Sydney but has travelled a lot, and lived in a few exotic places, like S. Africa!
We are so alike in outlook and thinking that we see ourselves as twins (probably in another life ?!). She is part of my "family" - my children adore her.... |

New Addition to the family! We made a wish and God granted us our wish. We now have a little princess to play with older sister Stephanie, who is now 9 years old! |

My darling girl..... Steffie is growing up so nicely now. But she is does not have as hearty an appetite as my son. She is 9yo but only around 24kg! |
My two men Joshua is such a big boy now - will be 13 years old soon, 13 going on 30! Loves to talk about WWI, WWII, Star Trek, the latest PC, Wii and PS2/ PSP games. LOVES pasta but hates all kinds of veggies. His weight ? 48 kg! He is almost as tall as me now. |
