Starting up in the birch wood in Nikkaluokta, walking is easy with a good path. Then there will be more roots, and more stones and some ups and downs. But a nice walking.
The path passes two bridges, this one is the Tarfala Bridge. If you turn right before passing the bridge, you can go to the Tarfala Research Station, some 10 km upstreams.
You will also pass some brooks, where you can take drinking water without risk. Choose the streaming water!
Partly the way has path way constructions of wood, which make it much more easy to walk.
Some ups and downs ...
