Mannerisms and Personality

1.You point with your lips.
2. You eat using your hands and have it down to technique.
3. Your other piece of luggage is a balikbayan box or red-white-blue striped bags.
4. You nod your head upward to greet someone.
5. You put your foot up on your chair and rest your elbow on your knee while eating.
6. You use a rock to scrub yourself in the bath or shower.
7. You have to kiss your relatives on the cheek as soon as you enter the room.
8. You're standing next to eight big boxes at the airport.
9. You collect items from hotels or restaurants "for souvenir's sake."
10. Your house has a distinctive aroma.
11. You smile for no reason.
12. You flirt by wearing a foolish grin on your face while raising your eyebrows repeatedly.
13. You go to a department store and try to bargain the prices.
14. You use an umbrella for shade on hot summer days.
15. You scratch your head when you don't know the answer.
16. You never eat the last morsel of food on the table.
17. You eat every last grain of rice in your bowl, but don't eat the last piece of food on the table.

34. You unwrap Christmas gifts very carefully, so you can save and reuse the wrapping (and especially those bows) next year.
35. You only buy Christmas cards after Christmas, when they are 50% off.
36. You save grocery bags, tin foil, and tin containers.
37. You use grocery bags to hold garbage.
38. You always leave your shoes at the door.
39. You play a musical instrument.
40. You twirl your pen around your fingers.
41. You have a collection of miniature shampoo bottles that you take every time you stay in a hotel.
42. The condiments in your fridge are either Price Club sized or come in plastic packets, which you save/steal every time you get take out or go to McDonald's.
43. Ditto for paper napkins - infact, in Hong Kong, McDonald's has stopped leaving napkins out because they were all being stolen. Now you are rationed to one or two each.
44. You fight over who pays the dinner bill.
45. You majored in something practical like engineering, medicine or law.
46. When you go to a dance party, there is wall of guys surrounding the dance floor trying to look cool.
47. You always look phone numbers up in the phone book, since calling Information costs 50 cents.
48. If you are an OCW, your monthly phone bill is over a third of your salary.
49. You only make long distance calls after 11 PM.
50. You or Your parents send money to their relatives in the Philippines.

116. You get smelling kisses from your grandma.
117. Your parents call each other "mommy" and "daddy."
118. You have a family member that has a nickname that repeats itself, i.e. "Deng-deng," "Ling-ling," or "Johu-johu."

 Hello. My wife is from Philippines. We just got back from Manila. That place looks like a nice getaway. I really like the adventureous sound to this spot. I hope its cold there.
