June 27 last update after operation:
ive got my new teeth and iam so happy, after 4 months without my lower teeth i can smile again and feel normal, thanx to Jamie the great teethprotheticus:-) and fysiotherapy is going well, i start being at work for a few hrs next week:-)

January 2009: i heard that i have a serious heartproblem and i have a second birthday now, because of the openheartoperation with renewel of aorta-vale and bypass at the Catharinahospital at Eindhoven
March 6th. : operation
March 14th. iam allowed to go home, i get help with personal care
March 23: conversation about revalidating 3x per week and ive got personal care by a nurse and help for household 1x per week:-)
march 26: i went to therapy yesterday and i feel great today, i even have the radio on again so thats a good sign:-) therapy went well, i cycled 10 min and walked and did some excercises, we have revalidation in a small group 5 people with same operation, i dont feel so sick anymore, a little pain but going forward iam happy today:-)
April 3: wow iam allowed to bike and i did today a little round around my street and back, it was exciting to feel a little freedom again, less independ from other people:-) it feels just great and the sun is shining, i had a bad week not feeling well and some pain but now its fantastic hehe
Therapy is going well learning every day to walk better, keeping my self in balance and training on the crosstrainer, 3 times a week for the next 2 coming weeks and if i do well.
April 11: its Eastersunday and i had a good week, the nurse who came to help to shower is not longer needed, i can do it myself again and i can do some little shopping as long as it doesnt weigh too much:-)
also the scarf is heeling weel and just a little stich has still to fall of, but most of it i can put some special creme on it.
i was told that i only have 3 more lessons for therapy and then i can do a program in my own street at the fysiotherapist. he will make a program based on the list he will get from the hospital so iam happy for now

hoping for a better condition than the last year. i could hardly bike, walk without getting tired and situation in January was really not good, i dont go out much just lying on bed recovering and practicing smLal things like walking stairs and trying to shower myself, still with hulp of a nurse. i will have to take special bloodthinners for the rest of my life because the vale they renewed is a mechanical one. I also have to take special tablets for the heart at this moment.
But iam not complaining, iam happy iam still here and after all ive been through the first days after the operation. a lot of pain and emtions, lots of tubes everywhere around and in me. but every day they removed something out of my body. and now at home i only wear a special brace around the chest to help recover the chestbones. i will update here every week how iam doing:-)

This is her daughter-in-law, Gia'da and via this update I would like to inform everyone that her heartoperation March 6th.2009 was successful! She went to the operating table friday around 11:00 Dutch time/ 11:00 am and went to the recovery around 15:45 Dutch time/3:45 pm. Atm she is recovering at the High Care unit, and if everything goes as expected, she will be released from the hospital next weekend. She is doing fine, under the circumstances ofcourse and she would like to thank everyone for the warm wishes :). She is really touched ^^.

This is my dear friend Joze in daily life and we went to Spain together in 2002, December 1st.2004 she got married with her partner Harry.
She passed away on May 27.2007. Joze

Harry past also away on October 13, 2008,
i miss them a lot.

My friend Gerrie who has a great sence of humor:-) still living close on the opposite of the street i live, but she will move soon to Zeewolde were her children and grandchildren are living, i will miss her a lot but we can visit its only 1,5 hr by train
