Massachusetts The first of June 2002 we went to a VT meeting in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, USA.
The meeting was organised by ABL1958 (Angie). We first hiked Monument Mountain with Hurgata (Lucille) and her daughter Sarah, LeDragon(Yvon), ABL1958 and us.
After that we had diner in a local brewery, there we were joined by Drolkar (Catherine) and Picklegirl (Debbie).

Antwerp 21 December 2002, the big Antwerp VT meeting ! Organised by irisbe (Danielle) and diamonddog (Rudy).
It was a cultural experience, with diamonds, beer, a church and more beer.....
There were so many VT friends we had never met before, but hopefully will meet again, it is to much to put them all here.

Osaka 12 april 2003, a VT hanami meeting. Organised by AyurinHiro.
At this meeting we met Sakura_Kobe (Kei and her friend Miwako), Heywinks (Sonia) and ofcourse AyurinHiro (Ayurin and Hiroyuki). We first went cherryblossom viewing at the Japan Mint then saw most of Osaka from the OAP tower building viewing floor, went on a river cruise and ended up having dinner in a japanese casual restaurant.

Groningen A sunny saturday in august we met a bunch of VT friends in Groningen. The meeting took place on the 23th of august 2003 and was brilliantly organised by Nighthawk. We met up at the terrace of the Groninger museum and after a walk through Groningen some of us climbed the Martinitoren. After a great dinner we hit the carnival and ended the meeting by getting thrown out of a pub at the Grote Markt.
People attending were: Nighthawk (Roelien),Nighthawk2(Jacolien), Imaniac (Roy), Igraine (Ingrid), Iver (Lars), Martin_nl, Nathalie_B, Pieter_Jan_V+ wife and son.

again Antwerp 2 November 2003 another mega meeting in Antwerp. Organised by Norali, Peter and Dannie. There were so many people there we are bound to forget some if we add names.
It was a great meeting again, and we met some old friends and made many new friends.

Belgium The next weekend we drove to Belgium again. At saturday we met at Dannies (irisbe) house for brunch. As usual she had done her best to please us. The food was abundant and the drinks too.
After the shaken strawberry tart dessert the five of us (Ralph II, B_Caro, irisbe and us) went to Gent to meet Luc (Luchonda).
The next day the terrible 5 took the train to Brugge.
Monday Caroline had to work so she couldnīt join us to Brussels. But this was subtituted by the great company of Norali, William (benidormone) and Dirk, and Peter (Peter_P). |

Our favorite Belgium again. February 2004:
Belgium again..... (Antwerp and Bruges) Both VT meetings were not so big, this time we could actually talk to everybody. In Antwerp we met Irisbe, Luchonda, Myriam_C, Peter_P, RaHeNi, and Suri. And the next day in Bruges it were Irisbe, Diamondog, Suri and Peter_P. |

Amsterdam - Zaanse Schans
Being the best city in the world (at least to Tom who was born there) we couldn't miss the Amsterdam meeting. The next day we visited the Zaanse Schans.
All of this brilliantly organised by dila and el-holandes.
In Amsterdam we made a canalboat tour and walked through the red light district and visited the amsterdam historic museum.
The next day we admired the windmills, clogs and wooden houses at the Zaanse Schans.
