Stirling My very favorite movie is BRAVEHEART so it wouldn't have been a trip to Scotland without seeing the William Wallace monument in Stirling! It was a long long climb but worth it! |
Dumfries My favorite castle in Scotland, of the ones I visited, was Caerlaverock Castle. It is near the Solway Coast between Gretna Green and Dumfries. As you can see it is red and actually has its moat! |
