Crandon Park Gardens

by pulgaron - last update: Aug 31, 2002

One place overlooked by tourists and even locals is Crandon Park Gardens. The site is where the old Miami Zoo used to be. Some of the old cages are still there. The city has done a good job with it. It is a very tranquil and romantic spot. If you visit Crandon Park Beach I suggest you check this place. It is free.
There are several lakes in the property.
Swans, geese, ducks.
A romantic spot for you and your sweetie. A swing bench over looking the lake.
The old animal cages.
A turkie. This place is like an animal petting zoo for little ones.
