Once in Panama City, I started researching other ways to reach Cartagena, Colombia. From Panama City, the flight to Cartagena, Colombia costs $178 with taxes and Panama's airport exit fee (the ticket alone costs $150 US). I was lucky to find a ride on a sailboat heading that way from Portobelo, Panama for $185. Portobelo is a lovly colonial town with an amazing fort.

A well done job...Panama is one of the path less traveled because few people knows there are many atracctions than just a Canal...keep the good work
