Kourion Theatre in Limassol We had the opening ceremony to an international women's conference here in this theatre. Spectacular! Especially because all 600 women were in their own national dress. I must dig up some pictures of that. |
Omorphita observation post This is called Charlie Sierra 45. The buffer zone goes right through the building. The white line is the buffer zone, so one side is Greek and the other side is Turkish territory. During my stay, my Cypriotic friends led us on a walk right along the division line in Nicosia. It was completely surreal and very sad. The people of Cyprus talk about the situation all the time. And they have a very hard time dealing with the situation. |
