Returned to the City we first started in! We love living back here again. The Gold Coast was great, but to be honest - in the 7 years or so that we lived there - we only went to the beach a few times! Mostly, we'd drive down to Byron Bay to check out the "scenery". For those of you who have been - you know what we're talking about.
It's like being in The Valley (Fortitude Valley that is!), which is only 2 minutes from where we live now.
Teneriffe is a gorgeous place - very small, right on the Brisbane river, and close to everything! We take our daughter on the City Cat ("Hi-Tech" Ferries/Boats) from outside the building we live in, and go anywhere - Southbank, Riverside, etc.

While I agree with the review on the food - the service was truly appalling. A rude waitress (using the term loosely here) destroyed the enjoyment of our evening. She told us "if you don't like it, don't come back". Well, we WON'T be going back. | harmoni Tue Apr 5, 2005 16:42 UTC
