Bounty Island A short flight north from Antananarivo brought us to the island of Sainte Marie, on the east coast of Madagascar. Sandy beaches, lots of sunshine, light seafood and rice... very relaxing! You can hire scooters or bikes to explore the island. Or go snorkling, diving or hire a motorboat to go along the coast. In the sea between Nosy Boraha and the mainland Madagascar, the white whales pass on their way to the south. Whale season (as far as I know): September/October. |
