things you should see when going to Denmark

I've entered some pictures of things your should see when going to Denmark. These are places I like and aren't neccesarely the big tourist spots.
This is Skagen

the beautiful island Bornholm

the town where Im born- lemvig

Skagen is the most northern town in Denmark and a very turistic area but definately worth a visit

worldmap near Hobro

this is a very interesting place with a map of the world as an island. Ive never been there myself but I just think it looks really interesting

Kronborg castle

Kronborg Castle is one of the most important Renaissance castles in Northern Europe.

Every year, several hundred thousand tourists visit this magnificent Castle at the entrance to the Sound.

The many foreign guests mainly associate Kronborg with Shakespeare's drama about Hamlet, Prince of Denmark.

For Danish visitors, the Castle is a national and historic monument.
On 30 November 2000, Kronborg was added to UNESCO's World Heritage List.

Roskilde cathedral

this is the place the danish monarchs have been burried since 1460, and its also one of the most spectacular churches in Denmark

himmelbjerget

Himmelbjerget is a great illustration of danish humour.
This is the highest point in Denmark , an impressive 147 metres.
The name can be translated as the " sky mountain"

Old town in Aarhus

Though before going to DK, I spent a lot of time trying to learn Danish. I practiced with Danish friends, too. Yet at the market, on the train, etc., the Danes would answer me in English. It was very kind of them, but I would have liked to try anyway. :-(

true DK is expensive...especially for turists. For Danes it is not that bad, if you know where to go. If you buy the beer in the discount supermarkets like NETTO, you can get 6 beers for 2 euros and food for allmost nothing.
