Saint-Michel, Odeon (5th and 6th district )

by BenFromParis - last update: Feb 12, 2006

Les caves saint-germain :

- Bar, club -

Nice, free entrance and closes very late (6am)!!!

Rue des canettes (6th district)
Métro : Mabillon

Where is it?

The heart of Paris!! Lot of shops, restaurants, cafés, pubs, cinemas, etc...

In the 4th and 5th quarter

RER : Saint-Michel or Luxembourg
Métro : Odéon or Clunny La Sorbonne

Le Pont des arts :

Magic....

Definitly my favorite bridge in Paris!!!

Place de l'église Saint-Sulpice :

A wonderful place (5mn from the "jardin du Luxembourg"). It's a very nice place to eat your sandwich in front of this church near the fontain.

Go for a walk in the small streets on the left of the church. You'll find here lot of different restaurants,
pubs (Coolin, Forg and Princess...) and cafes. One the best place for night life in Paris.

Métro : Mabillon or Odéon
RER : Luxembourg
Metro : Saint-Sulpice or Odeon or Mabillon

Aux Charpentiers :

- French restaurant -

French food, price : $$, 2 rooms, very well situated.

Menu : for lunch : 19 euros, for Diner : 52 euros

10, rue Mabillon (6th district)
Phone : 01 43 26 30 05

O'neil :

- Bar, english pub style -

Nice pub where they brew their own beer.
But I prefer definitly the "frog and princess" few meters from here and always full of nice people.

20, rue des Canettes (6th district)
Phone : 01 46 33 36 66

Frog and princess during a beach party

Frog and Princess :

- Bar, english pub style -

Picture of a party at frog and princess. It was really nice!!! This is one my favorite pub in Paris.

Coolin :

- Bar, english pub style -

Address : 15 rue Clément (6th quarter)
Metro: Mabillon
Phone : 01 44 07 00 92
Opening Hours: 12:00-02:00

L'Alcazar :

- bar, lounge -

You have a very nice mezzanine with a bar. It's not too difficult (dress code) to come in. Very good sound with a DJ and it closes at 2am.

The restaurant is very nice too, chic. So, it's surely a little bit expensive.

62, rue Mazarine
Phone : 01 53 10 19 99
Métro : Mabillon

more infos : www.alcazar.fr

Le pousse au crime :

- club -

It closes very late (6am)!!!
Not very easy too find., it's only a big wood door.

15 rue Guisarde 75006
Métro : Mabillon

I've been to Connolly's Corner, too! My name is Connolly & they gave me a free beer because of it (had to show them my passport to prove it - LOL). :>) The d'Orsay is THE best Impressionist museum in the world followed by the Art Institute in Chicago!
