The remains of the shuttle in the sky! It was a beautiful Saturday morning with not a cloud in the sky, but the remains of the space shuttle Columbia above my house. It was a moment I will never forget. I heard the SONIC BOOM and thought something fell upon my house. I never heard anything like it in my lifetime. My prayers go out to the families of the space shuttle Columbia. |
More dust in the sky from the explosion.. The sky was silent. The last time I can remember anything like this was the day of 9-11 when no other airplanes flew in the sky. Silence was there shortly afterwards and only rescue planes flew in the air. I will add more picture the next few days. |
