The main photo is a chef doing his daily Chwee-Chau, meaning cook and fry.
A foreign tourist busy selecting her perfumes in Chinatown's flea market.
Tourists and local youngsters wandering around. As they are busy looking, I also busy with my camera clicks.
Are they foreign or local? I don't care who they are since our digital camera are so darn cheap. So let's click a thousand times or a million times.
I can see they are foreign tourists doing bargain on an item they just selected.
Baak-Nqua is made of pork, so if you are Muslim, please stay away. This is Malaysian-Chinese shop that sells pork.
An elder arranging his stall in the middle of Jalan Sultan. This is where the old cinema Rex loacted but now already gone and became a cafe. The spot where I stand has a Kentucky Fried Chicken just behind me, a Watson store at further right, a Portuguese Nando Chicken at right, a 7-Eleven at left and 3 to 4 McDonald's at further right and turn left.
Behind the Chinatown is the area less visited by tourists as most travel websites did not provide enough details information for them.
Chinatown traffic jam is a daily practice. Chinatowners already get used to this way of life.
If you don't know what is the name of the road, its called Petaling Street or Jalan Petaling. Also known as Chinatown or Pekan Cina.

As a cultural anthropologist, I have to agree with much of what you say. in 2008 I was very lucky to meet a KL person, who has become my best friend now, who explained the situation very well.
I visited this shop in October during a stopover. It is amazing, a real aladdin's cave, and cheap compared with european prices. I look forward to going back
