The Dades gorges

Once you reach Boumalne, the valley becomes narrower, there is less and less vegetation, and you are in the Dades gorges. A few miles from Tinerhir the trip ends into the Todra gorges.

Mhamide dunes

At Mhamid at about 60 km south of Zagora, we spent the night in the desert. We arrived at sunset and this is the nice surprise we discovered at sunrise

If you are at El Kelaà M'Gouna on the first WE of May,
you can't miss the Rose festival. Dozens of children make delicious smelling fresh rose necklaces and the whole WE there is a great rose happening.
And then you go to Boumalne Dades. Here a view from the market place, with his weekly dromedary market.

Dades Valley

Dades Valley is the land of a thousand kasbas. and some of the most surprising landscapes Morocco has to offer.
Nestled in between the djbel Sarho and the High Atlas Mountains, the Dades finds its way through a dry, desert-like countryside and provides moisture for a series of oases.
