| | 4 angels are standing on top of the church-gate |
| | it is absolutely worth a visit - although it is still under re-construction that will be ended in the year 2005 |
| | there are so many ornamental windows and through some of them the sun was shining and gave them a special glance |
| | It is just a pity that it is not possible to enter the church or closely approach it, as there is a large fence around it |
| | and I had to step into some sort of a jungle in order to take pics at some places |
| | I took a picture of the altar through one of the windows - but still have to develop it - this is one of the pictures I found on a sign outside |
| | St.Leopold sitting on the very top of one of the colums |
| |
St.Leopoldskirche am Spiegelgrund - inside the Psychiatric hospital of Vienna.
|
| | simply take Bus 47A to the very end - and it will take maybe 20 minutes to walk to the church through a labyrinth of streets and paths |
| | but you may as well enter the area by your car - although it is officially forbidden except for deliveries and visitors to the hospital - but no-one was watching this early sunday morning and so I could drive in and had to follow the signs " Zur Kirche" |
| | The whole hospital is built in Art Nouveau-style and has also a great ornamental fence |
