Lake Constance - or Bodensee as it's known in German - is located on the south of Germany and is divided between Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Shown here is the lake map, made from flowers from Mainau (see below).

Mainau is a little island in Lake Constance. The entire island is a botanic garden dedicated to flowers.

On top of the flowers, there is also a butterfly house where you are surrounded by dozens of amazing butterflies.

This one I suspect is a fake! It was much bigger than the rest and was completely calm and would just stay there flapping its wings while all the others would fly away the second you approach them.

Lindau

A picturesque town on the the lake. The old part of town is built on a little island, connected by a bridge to the mainland.

Rhein Falls

Not really on the lake, but not far from it you will find the Rhein Falls, near the Swiss city of Schaffhausen.

On the way from the lake to the falls, do not forget to stop at the charming village of Stein am Rhein with its beautiful painted houses.
